Happy 106th Birthday to the National Park Service! It was born on August 25, 1916 with the National Park Service Act.
Visiting all U.S. National Parks is one of our life goals. On this trip to Zion National Park, we stayed up all night in almost freezing temps to shoot the Milky Way on a bridge that swayed in 20-25 mph winds. It was impossible to get images in focus because of the winds, but we kept trying until first light. The Milky Way was so bright in the dark skies that it was still visible even with the first hints of sunlight in the distance.
