Every single time I see the full moon rising, it takes my breath away. It’s a transcendent feeling to witness this cosmic marvel of nature and challenge myself to create a moment from it. This creative process is both calming and invigorating. It’s also addictive.
This is from our second night in a row shooting the full Beaver moon, named for the time of year when beavers start building their winter shelter. Beavers are nocturnal, so they work under the glow of moonlight. It’s no wonder that I’ve always had an affinity for beavers.
